These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReCult website at recult.app, our email programs (including The Steal daily deal), and the content and accounts ReCult operates. By using any of these, you agree to these Terms.
ReCult ("ReCult," "we," "us") builds tools that help people find useful local information and genuinely good deals. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the service.
Who can use ReCult
You must be at least 13 years old to use ReCult. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide to us is accurate.
The Steal and our emails
- The Steal is a free email that highlights one genuinely good deal a day. You can subscribe with your email address and unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in every email.
- We surface deals we believe are good value at the real landed price, and we do not publish fake or inflated "was" prices. Even so, prices, availability, and offers are set by the retailer and can change or sell out at any time.
- ReCult is not the seller. When you buy a deal, you buy directly from the retailer, on the retailer's website and under the retailer's own terms. Any purchase, payment, shipping, return, or warranty matter is between you and that retailer.
Affiliate links
Some deal links may be affiliate links, meaning ReCult can earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Whether a link is an affiliate link never changes which deal we choose to feature.
Third-party sites and platforms
The service links to third-party websites (such as retailers) and is published on third-party platforms (such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, and Telegram). We do not control those sites or platforms and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
Acceptable use
When using ReCult, you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems;
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content on a commercial scale without permission; or
- Misrepresent your identity or use the service to harm others.
Intellectual property
The ReCult name, logo, and original content are owned by ReCult and protected by applicable laws. You may share links to our public pages and posts, but you may not copy our branding or present our content as your own.
No warranty
The service and its content, including deals and prices, are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that any deal, price, or piece of information is accurate, current, available, or suitable for your needs. You are responsible for verifying details with the retailer before purchasing.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReCult will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service, your reliance on any deal or information, or any transaction with a third-party retailer.
Changes to the service and these Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ReCult operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
